JetBlue’s Latest Video Appeals to Foodies

If you follow Inflight Feed, as I do, you’re up to date on the latest aviation food trends, so you may already have seen the latest super-appetising video Jet Blue prepared to promote its Mint service baked nummies.  Just in case you missed it, here it is:

MINTRODUCING: MAH-ZE-DAHR BAKERY

This is a very clever campaign, which could result in a new trend for airline viral videos: The Inflight Foodie Video.  Honestly, who doesn’t want a Mah-Ze-Dahr scone or biscuit after watching how lovingly they’re made?  As someone who loves baking, this was just a delight to watch.

The very clever part of this promotion is that it taps into the popularity of food network shows and was produced at that level.  Will Virgin Atlantic or Virgin American now reach out to Nigella? Only time will tell.  I do expect to see more of these tasty promotions served up by airlines soon.

Hat Tip to the incomparable Nikos Loukas for the heads-up!
