Soon SAS’s Newly Converted A330 Viking Takes to the Skies

Erik Viking has had a long tiring journey while undergoing a cabin refurbishment and Tweeting all about it, but soon he will take to the skies completely refreshed.

SAS reports that Erik will begin flying his sleek new cabins at the end of March and will principally serve routes between Oslo/Stockholm and the USA.

“We’re really pleased to be close to presenting the new cabins to our customers. This new image will give a big boost to SAS and will give passengers a whole new passenger experience,” says Elvind Roald, Executive Vice President, Commercial, SAS

“Many of our customers have had great interest in it and high expectations for new modern cabins and we will, of course, share how the work progresses.”

As Erik Viking suggests, fans of SAS can follow along on the cabin design implementation by reading the latest on Scandinavian Traveller.

It is not clear whether Erik Viking will retire from his career as a social media maven to get back to work in the clouds, but he will surely be having a good time.
