AbFab First Class amenities are here: “It’s a Lacroix, darling!”
Etihad Airways expands its fashion lifestyle branding with new First Class amenity kits from the design house of Christian Lacroix, filled with goodies from pioneering Hungarian skincare brand Omorovicza.
The new kits will first be available on the airline’s Airbus A380 flights between Abu Dhabi and London, New York, Sydney, Melbourne and Mumbai, and will then launch fleet-wide in early 2017.

Etihad says that the attention to detail and meticulous approach to design of the Christian Lacroix brand complements its own First Class elegance and flair.

The individual male and female embossed bags come in two rich colours which complement Etihad Airways’ attractive crew uniforms: plum for ladies and grey for men. Eithad will later introduce a second variety of kits in burgundy for ladies and black for men.
Gentlemen receive a wash bag and convertible flat case, and ladies receive embossed fold over bags which can do double-duty as a chic clutch. The men’s bag, when unfolded, can also be used to store tablet devices.
Gorgeous Inside and Out
Inside the stylish bags passengers will find four anti-ageing and rejuvenating items by Omorovicza, hand-picked from the brand’s ‘Gold’ collection.
The gold used in the luxurious creams, serums, oils and scrubs is said to be anti-inflammatory, healing micro-damage and strengthening mature skin. Plus it’s gold. Besides this precious metal, Omorovicza uses only pure ingredients and no harmful agents.
There are also inflight essentials inside, including a perfecting lip balm that soothes and nourishes dehydrated lips; an instantly absorbed facial moisturiser with cooling gel-cream for long-lasting hydration; a nourishing, lightly scented hand treatment; and a refreshing cleansing wipe.
Four Omorovicza items will be also be offered in Etihad Airways’ First Class guest washrooms: a Queen of Hungary face mist; a hydrating and energising mist; a fragrant and refreshing face and hand wash which cleanses and hydrates, without stripping the skin of natural oils; and a nourishing, lightly scented hand lotion.

The other comfort items you’d expect to find in a First Class amenity kit are included, with a few extras: ear plugs, a comb, a care pack (with cotton pads, ear buds and an emery board), a dental pack, a sleep pack (with comfortable socks and eyeshades), and a relax pack (with pillow mist and pulse point oil to help you sleep better). The gentleman’s bag also includes a shaving kit.
