Recaro Aircraft Seating received recognition as one of the best employers in the medium-sized business sector worldwide.
This was confirmed through an independent study carried out by the Top Employers Institute which closely examined the aircraft seat manufacturer’s personnel management and strategy, as well as employee working conditions.
Once a year, the Top Employers Institute acknowledges the world’s best employers in several categories.
This year, the outstanding achievements of the long-established Swabian company Recaro Aircraft Seating as an employer were certified by the Institute for the first time in the category of medium-sized companies.
“We are very proud to once again receive this prestigious certification from the Top Employers Institute,” says Peter Müller, Executive Vice President Finance & Administration at Recaro Aircraft Seating.
The jury acknowledged the company’s exceptional focus on employee orientation, continuous improvement of the working environment and ongoing investment in employee development. Recaro was the only company in the aviation and aerospace sector to receive one of the Top Employers coveted certifications.
In 2016, Germany’s largest aircraft seat manufacturer was named Top Employer for engineers by the jury.
The Top Employers Institute’s internationally recognized certifications are only granted to companies if they successfully fulfill exacting requirements in a variety of categories.
During the certification program, all participating companies are subject to a uniform investigation process.
The survey assesses a spectrum of categories in employment practices, including: Talent Strategy, Personnel Planning, Onboarding, Training and Development, Performance Management, Leadership Development, Corporate Culture, Career & Succession Planning as well as Compensation & Benefits.
“At Recaro, we are extremely committed to creating working conditions for our employees that are well above average in the market. We see certification by the Top Employers Institute as a confirmation for our investment in this area, as well as a driving factor to continuously improve based on the findings,” says Fabian Nickel, Director Human Resources at Recaro Aircraft Seating. “This distinction makes it clear that we are one of the most attractive employers in the aviation and aerospace industry."
