SAS opens new route to Seville from Stockholm

From 29th February 2020, SAS will fly to Seville, in Spain, from Stockholm, Arlanda. The new direct route to the Andalucian capital will be operated on Saturdays until 16th May.

The new seasonal route increases accessibility to the pleasant climate of southern Spain in the country’s fourth largest city, Seville.

“We are delighted to be able to offer an additional route to Spain, which is one of our most popular destinations. Seville is a city with a fascinating history and this gives our travelers new opportunities to discover Andalucia,” says Karl Sandlund, EVP Commercial.

The city of Seville is known, amongst other things, for its Gothic cathedral, the flamenco and the castle of El Alcazar. The area around Seville offers great opportunities to play golf all year round thanks to the Mediterranean climate. Nearby are coastal areas such as Cadiz and Huelva with vast beaches for swimming and water sporting.

SAS will fly the route to Seville with the new Airbus 320neo aircraft, which is among the most quiet and fuel efficient on the market.

Seville becomes the sixth destination for SAS in Spain from Sweden along with Alicante, Barcelona, Gran Canaria, Palma de Mallorca and Malaga.

The tickets will be available from September 12.
