The global aviation industry is set to take flight again as the World Aviation Festival confirms the presence of innovative start-ups and the most influential leaders in the field.

Highlights of the World Aviation Festival 2023:

- Date and Venue: Set your calendars for 26th-28th September 2023. The FIL Lisbon Exhibition and Congress Centre will be the backdrop for this year’s most awaited aviation event.
- The Start-Up Village: Between 27th and 28th September, the festival will feature the Start-Up Village. Over 100 early-stage SMEs will gather here, and attendees can look forward to a dedicated pitching zone running throughout. Some of the newest players include Triend, Chain4Travel, RAVL, CirculAIRity, and Frizbit.
- Keynote Speakers: The speaker line-up is stellar. Among those confirmed are John Hurley, CTO of Ryanair DAC; Massimo Morin, Global Head of Travel and Passenger Airlines at AWS; and Dee Waddell, Global MD of Travel and Transportation at IBM. The roster also boasts industry stalwarts like Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates; Willie Walsh, CEO of IATA; Luis Gallego, CEO of IAG; and Eddie Wilson, CEO of Ryanair.
- Networking and Celebration: Hosted by CarTrawler, the reception on September 27th, from 18:00 to 20:30 at FIL Square, promises an evening of engaging conversations and fun, bringing together over 1,000 industry executives.
