A Fusion of Craftsmanship and Heritage
Boarding the 787, passengers are welcomed into a realm that mirrors Hawaiʻi’s natural splendor. The cabin is a fusion of vibrant textures, with soothing lighting reminiscent of island sunrises and sunsets. Not forgetting the sinuous patterns that depict the majestic Hawaiian oceans and winds. The aircraft’s design is meticulously planned, from the starlit ceiling reminiscent of the constellations guiding Polynesian voyagers to the textures of the carpet echoing ocean waves.
Every corner of this aircraft sings praises to Hawaiʻi’s unspoiled nature. From wall panels reflecting native wood grains to a lavatory floor inspired by glistening black volcanic sands and integrations of ‘Ōlelo Hawaiʻi (Hawaiian language), ensuring a holistic cultural immersion.
“Our 787’s uniquely Hawaiian design and comfort, paired with the award-winning hospitality of our crew, will create an unparalleled experience for our guests on their travel to the islands,” remarked Avi Mannis, chief marketing officer at Hawaiian Airlines.
