While it waits for a determination on its contentious transatlantic routes, low-cost airline Norwegian continues to expand its services from the UK with the introduction this week of two new routes from London Gatwick to Keflavik, Iceland and Rovaniemi, Finland.
Delta Airlines has announced the launch of new seasonal service to Iceland’s Keflavik International Airport from its Twin Cities hub in Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport starting May 26, 2016.
Reykjavik will be Delta’s fifth European destination from Minneapolis-St. Paul.
The land of ice and fire is eager to build up its tourism, and the national carrier, Icelandair, is eager to do its part. The latest promotion is a 48-hour surprise stopover with a chance to see the sites, accompanied by a your choice of tour guide.
