Singapore Airlines has announced the launch of a new route to Stockholm, via Moscow, served by the airline’s A350-900 aircraft. These flights will operate as codeshare with SAS Scandinavian Airlines.
SAS launches its new route to Boston today, making it the first airline to offer direct service between Boston and Scandinavia.
This is the airline’s ninth direct route to the U.S. and brings the total number of flights the airline operates between Scandinavia and the U.S. each year to 6,800 flights carrying 1.6 million passengers.
SAS launches its first flight from Stockholm to Los Angeles today as part of the airline’s investment in long-haul expansion.
The new route will introduce daily service from Arlanda to L.A., with an outbound flight SK939 departing Stockholm at 9:50 am and landing in LA at 12:15. The return flight SK940 departs L.A. at 2:15 and arrives to Stockholm, Arlanda at 10:00 am.
