In 2022, 61 airlines recorded a commendable 51% increase in ancillary revenue, as reported in the 2023 edition of the CarTrawler Yearbook of Ancillary Revenue by IdeaWorksCompany.
The latest Ideaworks and CarTrawler study of ancillaries sales has been published, revealing that Qatar Airways is exceptionally lucky with Duty-Free sales of $528 million through the airline’s Qatar Duty Free operation.

United Airlines is in the top position again this year, having earned $6.19 Billion of the $26 billion the top ten airlines made this past year from “extras.”
