Brisbane Airport Keeps Clean Reputation

    Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) has recently taken a significant step in its dedication to cleanliness and maintenance. This month, BAC signed the most substantial cleaning contract with Trident Services Australia.

    Scope of Brisbane Airport Cleaning Contract

    The newly inked service contract is expansive and covers a range of facilities, including:

    • Brisbane’s Domestic and International Terminals
    • Airport Carparks
    • BNE Service Centre
    • Kingsford Smith Memorial
    • Airport Operations Centre
    • General Aviation Terminal
    • Airport Freight Centre
    • Skygate Shopping Centre
    • DFO Carparks
    • BAC administration offices.

    In addition, the service will also be responsible for street sweeping specific areas of the BNE precinct, which witnesses a daily influx of 24,000 employees and 60,000 travelers.

    Brisbane Airport issues cleaning contract to Trident Services Australia. Trident Services is hiring airport staff.

    Krishan Tangri, the Executive General Manager of Infrastructure and Planning at BAC, highlighted the corporation’s commitment to maintaining high standards. “Ensuring our facilities are clean and safe is of the highest importance to us,” he remarked. “We are eager to continue this legacy in partnership with Trident Services Australia.”

As Nick Athan-Iksidis, Head of Cleaning – Aviation at Trident Services, explains, “This training center aims to equip front-line personnel with real-world experience, ensuring they deliver quality cleaning outcomes.”

    Additionally, Trident is deeply committed to sustainability, safety, and efficiency. Their site management team is zealously passionate about pushing the service boundaries forward in these domains.

    Cleaning Jobs at Brisbane Airport

    The contract is set to commence on 1 October 2023 and is expected to last until at least 2026.

    In wrapping up this new chapter, BAC thanks Securecorp Cleaning for their dedicated 9 years of service at Brisbane Airport.

    Lastly, Trident is actively recruiting current Brisbane Airport staff and promises to adhere to the conditions set by the United Workers Union Brisbane Airport Enterprise Agreement of 2022.
