In a bold move to redefine luxury travel and customer experience, United has unveiled its two latest United Clubs at Denver International Airport. One of them is the largest United Club worldwide.
This mammoth lounge expansion is part of United’s efforts to improve the passenger experience.
United’s 35,000 sq. ft. B Concourse (East) Club
Situated in the B Concourse, the new 35,000 sq. ft. United Club stands as the epitome of contemporary design and elegance. It’s not just any club; it’s a venue where passengers can experience premium local and craft beers through a seasonal rotation at the brand-new feature bar. With Denver taking its rightful place as a premier beer destination, United’s new club is a nod to the city’s thriving beer culture.
United’s 24,000 sq. ft., A Concourse Club
Just a month ago, the airline welcomed travelers to another club in the A Concourse, over 24,000 sq. ft. This space celebrates Colorado’s unparalleled outdoor beauty with design elements reminiscent of a luxurious ski lodge.
A $1 Billion investment in Denver
As United continues to invest nearly $1 billion in Denver to enhance the passenger experience, by 2025, the airport is slated to offer more than 100,000 sq. ft. of United Club space. This will accommodate over double the number of travelers than previous club spaces.
Design Based on Passenger Needs
“The new United Club locations are designed and operated to reflect feedback from our customers and match the way their travel has evolved in recent years,” remarked Alexander Dorow, United’s Head of Clubs & Lounges. “We’re growing our hub in the Mile High City, and the expansion and renovation of United Club locations represents our commitment to Colorado and our customers’ experience.
United Club Fly
The expansion plans also feature a unique concept named United Club Fly. Launched last year in Denver, it offers an unparalleled convenience for travelers to grab their favorite snacks and drinks en route to their flights.
How United Club Fly works:
- Scan to enter: Self-scan your boarding pass at the automated entry gates.
- Select a snack…or two: Choose from a selection of premium food options curated with an on-the-go flyer in mind, such as sandwiches, salads and wraps, yogurt, vegetables, fruit, and more.
- Order a barista-crafted coffee: Skip infamously long airport coffee lines and get your caffeine fix at the club’s full-service coffee bar, serving hand-crafted coffee beverages brewed with illy coffee blend.
- Self-service beverage counter: Find your favorite nonalcoholic beverages, including sparkling water, soft drinks, iced tea, juices, and more. A reusable water bottle filling station is also available.
- Skip checkout lines: Take the few items you’ve selected and walk out the exit turnstile – nothing more is needed.
Inside the Design of United’s New Denver Clubs
B Concourse (East) United Club
Overlooking gate B44, this three-level mammoth space accommodates more than 600 seats. The club’s interiors resonate with Denver’s beer culture, with brewery-inspired designs and beer-tasting experiences. And with beer selections from renowned Colorado breweries like New Belgium and Great Divide, it’s a treat for beer aficionados. Local artistry, like the mural by Charlo Garcia Walterbach, adds to its allure, encapsulating the joy of travel and discovery.
A Concourse (West) United Club
A tribute to the Colorado Rockies, this club blends luxury and nature. Encompassing two levels near gate A26, travelers can unwind amidst locally sourced furniture that mirrors Colorado’s scenic landscapes. From fireplaces reminiscent of cozy ski lodges to unique artworks. One example is a custom ‘Come Fly With Us’ mural by Denver-based multidisciplinary designer Adam Vicarel. These elements combine to ensure the club exudes warmth and comfort.
