Starting this month, Qatar Airways’ Economy Class passengers will enjoy extra TLC (tender loving care) and some travel inspiration with the introduction of a new line of collectible amenity kits.
The new bags were designed around the airline’s new tag line “Going Places Together,” and feature images of destinations on Qatar Airways’ route network.
The airline will offer new designs every four months, featuring cities in Qatar Airways’ network of more than 150 destinations.
The amenity kits are packed with comfort essentials like Institut Karité Paris lip balm, a Miradent dental kit, an eye mask, socks and ear plugs.
“This will be a year of change for Qatar Airways travellers, with numerous upgrades to our on-board products and services, including our new Economy Class amenity kits,” says Qatar Airways Senior Vice President of Customer Experience, Rossen Dimitrov. “The refreshed kits have been designed to deliver an elevated customer experience by providing our passengers with products from world-class brands such as Institut Karité Paris and Miradent. We like to continually surprise and delight our passengers in every class of cabin, and we believe that anyone travelling in Economy Class will be truly delighted when they discover these new amenity kits on board.”
Premium Comforts
The reveal of Qatar Airways’ new Economy kits follows the airline’s recent launch of new amenity kits for Business Class and First Class passengers, designed by BRIC’S and Nappa Dori, with content provided by Castello Monte Vibiano Vecchio. Premium amenity kits are complemented by a new sleeper suit design from luxury brand The White Company.
Child’s Play
The airline also considers the comfort needs its junior VIP flyers with special menus, amenities and games developed through the airline’s collaboration with Hasbro.
Further Improvements Ahead
Qatar Airways has intrigued the industry with announced plans to launch a new Business Class seat this year. The new design will be a wholly unique and patented seat concept, which Qatar says is “designed to revolutionise the premium cabin experience.”
