Flights between San Francisco (SFO) and Taipei (TPE) will initially be available three times weekly, with plans to transition to a daily service by March of the subsequent year.

STARLUX’s CEO, Glenn Chai, shared the excitement and announced further plans for US destinations are in the works. “With San Francisco’s proximity to Silicon Valley and status as a significant political, economic, and tourism hub, the City by the Bay has established itself as a top travel destination. With one-third of its population of Asian descent, our new route will also cater to these travelers’ needs, whether they are visiting family, vacationing, or traveling for work. STARLUX strives to continue expanding and plans a new Seattle route next year.”

As an added incentive for booking, the airline announced a collaboration with Sony for a premium promotion. First-Class travelers flying from Taipei to San Francisco between December 16th and 31st will be gifted the state-of-the-art Sony WH-1000XM5 wireless headphones.
