LEVEL Launches Barcelona-Miami Flights: Expanding Horizons with Its Sixth US Route

We have another exciting development for transatlantic travel. Barcelona-based low-cost long-haul airline LEVEL announced that it is extending its wings by launching new flights between Barcelona and Miami.

With service scheduled to start on March 31, 2024, tickets are already on sale. This route will feature three weekly flights and inaugurate the airline’s summer travel season. With the addition of Miami, LEVEL now serves five destinations in the United States. This announcement marks a pivotal point in the airline’s operational strategy.

LEVEL’s Expanding Fleet

LEVEL will add a sixth Airbus A330-200 to its fleet to facilitate this new route. The aircraft, configured in two classes— premium economy and economy—has a total seating capacity of 314 passengers.

This new aircraft accommodates the new Miami route and offers the airline opportunities for further route expansion.

Why Miami?

The Barcelona-Miami service is geared towards offering a broader spectrum of travel destinations to both business travelers and vacationers alike. Miami is a major hub that provides access to the rest of the United States. It also serves as a gateway to Latin America. It is also surrounded by natural beauty with verdant mountains and Mediterranean beaches. All this makes Barcelona a must-visit European gem for global travelers. LEVEL aims to make these appealing destinations more affordable to fly to and from.

What to Expect in the Summer of 2024

As we steadily march toward Northern winter, we can already dream of the Northern summer travel season. These new flights to the city of endless summer will become one of the highlights of LEVEL’s portfolio.

The upcoming Barcelona-Miami route is also a testament to LEVEL’s dynamic growth in the unique long-haul low-cost airline segment. With its diverse destinations, LEVEL is proving to be a steady success in the IAG portfolio.
