Stockholm Arlanda and Gothenburg Landvetter airports are hiring for hundreds of job openings. After a successful recruitment drive at Stockholm Arlanda last year, Swedavia continues to invest heavily in recruitment this year with two open recruitment days at Stockholm Arlanda and Landvetter, Sweden’s two largest airports. These recruitment days are organized in collaboration with numerous companies at the airports. Prospective candidates will be able to interact with representatives from various companies, learn about different professions, and explore the hundreds of job openings at Swedavia’s airports. It is anticipated that there will be over 500 job openings in the next few years.
Sweden’s Largest Workplaces
With approximately 600 employers and 17,500 employees at Stockholm Arlanda and around 100 employers and 3,500 employees at Landvetter, these airports are significant employers in their respective regions. Notably, Arlanda ranks among the largest workplaces in Sweden.

Hundreds of New Employees Needed
Over the upcoming years, the industry foresees a need to hire numerous new employees across various professions at Sweden’s airports. These positions will encompass operational airport staff, airport officers, IT engineers, service personnel, and security control officers, catering to the goal of maintaining connectivity.
Stockholm Arlanda drew thousands of attendees to its recruitment day last year, and Swedavia aims to host an even larger event at both Stockholm Arlanda and Landvetter this year, spanning two recruitment days. The Recruitment Day at Arlanda is scheduled for January 12, with the Recruitment Day at Göteborg Landvetter set for January 17.
