European ultra-low-cost carrier Wizz Air, renowned for its rapid expansion, has solidified a firm agreement for an additional 75 A321neo Family aircraft. This latest acquisition brings Wizz Air’s total order for the largest member of the Airbus single-aisle family to 434 and elevates its A320 Family commitment to 565 aircraft.
József Váradi, the CEO of Wizz Air, expressed his enthusiasm for this new agreement: “Today’s announcement signifies Wizz Air’s further consolidation as the leading operator of the A321neo Family in Europe and the Middle East. We’ve already transitioned more than half of our fleet to the innovative neo technology. Our strategic partnership with Airbus, which has been longstanding and fruitful, is further cemented with one of the largest outstanding order books in the world, exceeding 350 neo aircraft.”
Operating solely with Airbus, Wizz Air‘s fleet currently comprises over 180 A320 Family aircraft.

Currently, the A321neo has received nearly 5,200 orders from customers worldwide.
