Japan Airlines (JAL) has received its first A350-1000 aircraft from Airbus in Toulouse, France. This new plane will serve as JAL’s flagship international aircraft, starting with flights between Tokyo Haneda and New York JFK.

The JAL A350-1000 cabin features four classes. First Class offers six Suites with a choice of sofa, seat, single bed, or double bed configurations. Business Class also features Suites, providing privacy with 54 seats. The airline worked with its designers to enhance the personal space and comfort of Premium Economy Class (24 seats) and Economy Class (155 seats).

JAL has placed an order for 31 A350 aircraft, including 18 A350-900s and 13 A350-1000s. Since 2019, the airline has been operating the A350-900 on high-density domestic routes in Japan.
