Icelandair Enhances Passenger Experience with Panasonic’s Astrova In-Flight Entertainment
Icelandair has selected Panasonic Avionics Corporation to elevate its passenger experience with state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment (IFE) solutions and digital services. The airline’s new Airbus A321neo Long-Range aircraft fleet will feature Panasonic’s Astrova IFE solution and a suite of digital solutions.

The Astrova system boasts industry-leading 4K OLED screens and high-definition capability. It delivers an immersive experience with high-fidelity audio through Panasonic Avionics’ Bluetooth technology. Icelandair’s A321neo LR aircraft will feature 16-inch monitors in Business Class and 13-inch screens in Economy.

In addition to the Astrova IFE, Icelandair will benefit from various digital solutions provided by Panasonic Avionics. They include Marketplace, OneMedia, Arc Moving Map, and ZeroTouchTM.

Arc Moving Map: Enriching Passenger Travel Experience
Arc is an innovative 3D-moving map application. It offers premium point-of-interest content and advanced map features, enhancing the travel experience for Icelandair’s passengers.

Panasonic Avionics’ ZeroTouch service enables efficient content transfer to and from Icelandair’s A321neo LR aircraft, supporting personalized passenger experiences. This service ensures real-time access to fleet inventory content, software updates, and media, facilitating a seamless and relevant passenger experience.
Enhanced IFE Operating System
Panasonic Avionics’ new approach to its IFE operating system empowers Icelandair to build and deliver passenger experiences more efficiently. It allows for faster deployment and innovation, enabling Icelandair to manage its own application deployments.
