Iberia has re-opened its Velázquez Premium Lounge in T4S after an expansion and re-design process which makes more room for guests and offers a host of new services.
The stylish 2.500-metre lounge can now accommodate 500 guests, in a variety of environments for work, relaxation, refreshment or dining and includes a dedicated children’s play zone.
Guests can enjoy a sit-down restaurant dining experience or self-service from the hot and cold buffet. A wine bar offers 22 premium vintages of Spanish origin. The airline will soon open a Healthy corner and a dedicated Coffee and Tea Corner.
Iberia will also be introducing video menus on tablet devices at the Buffet area, offering dining recommendations.
There is free unlimited Wi-Fi throughout the lounge and furnishings equipped with USB power outlets to keep electronic devices charged. There are also power outlets available in the dining area for those who enjoy working while they nosh.
A large open work area Business Centre is available for guests who want to arrange meetings while they wait for their flight.
The Velázquez Premium Lounge also offers showers equipped with spa amenities, a dedicated relaxation zone with chaise lounges where travellers can stretch out and catch a few winks.
The children’s zone includes traditional games, video games and television programming to keep the little ones entertained.
