    Emirates Celebrates Warner Bros. Studios’ Centennial with Special In-flight Movie Collection 

    Emirates launches movie collection onboard honouring 100 years of Warner Bros. Studios

    Emirates is set to launch a unique collection of 100 films in honor of the 100th anniversary of Warner Bros. Studios, bringing some of the world’s most beloved films onboard. This commemorative collection, available on the award-winning in-flight entertainment system—ice—will kick off on Emirates flights from 1 September 2023. 

    Emirates: First Airline to Bring Warner Bros. Centennial Celebration to the Skies 

    Emirates is leading the airline industry by being the first to bring Warner Bros.’s centennial celebration to the skies through its innovative entertainment system, ice. In addition to its over 6,500 channels of on-demand entertainment, 45 Academy Award® winning films, more than 2,000 movies, 650 TV shows, and 4,000 hours of music, podcasts, and audiobooks in 40 languages, the ice system will now feature the newly launched Warner Bros.’ 100 films collection. This special collection spans from timeless classics like Casablanca and The Wizard of Oz to recent blockbusters like Dune and Elvis

    Special Features: Max Original Documentaries 

    Adding to the Warner Bros. centennial collection are four Max Original documentary specials that delve into the rich history of the movie studio. Titled 100 YEARS OF WARNER BROS., the series explores the studio’s massive impact on art, commerce, and culture. The documentaries share insights and firsthand accounts from directors, actors, executives, journalists, and historians, tracing Warner Bros.’ journey from its humble beginnings in the early 1920s, founded by four brothers from an immigrant family, to its evolution into a global entertainment powerhouse following significant mergers in the 2000s. 

    With narration by Morgan Freeman and clips from iconic films and hit TV series, 100 YEARS OF WARNER BROS. offers a fascinating behind-the-scenes look into the indelible stories that have spoken to audiences around the world for generations.

    The documentaries feature interviews with over 60 legendary filmmakers, actors, and executives, including Martin Scorsese, Oprah Winfrey, Clint Eastwood, Tim Burton, George Clooney, Ellen DeGeneres, Daniel Radcliffe, Keanu Reeves, Oliver Stone, and Robert De Niro.
