Petri Vuori, the Senior Vice President responsible for route development at Finavia, the firm that owns and operates Finland’s airports, welcomed the new SAS flights. “Finland’s connections to the Nordic capitals will improve even further when SAS starts flying from Helsinki Airport to Oslo,” he said. “The route is a welcome addition to the airline’s already comprehensive route offering from Finavia airports.”

In addition to Oslo, SAS operates multiple flights daily to Copenhagen and Stockholm Arlanda Airport. It’s worth noting that Turku and Vaasa airports also benefit from SAS’s consistent service, enjoying daily flights to Stockholm Arlanda.

SAS reopened the flight connection between Vaasa and Stockholm earlier this year. The return came after a three-year break and was celebrated on Monday, 3 April 2023 at the Finavia airport. SAS operates the route on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
