Norwegian New Flights: Gothenburg Landvetter to Dubrovnik

Norwegian will launch a new route with flights from Gothenburg Landvetter Airport to Dubrovnik before the 2024 summer season.

This new direct route is part of Norwegian’s expansion at Gothenburg Landvetter Airport. It will operate twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, starting May 1, 2024. With this addition, Norwegian will have five new routes from Gothenburg Landvetter next spring. Dubrovnik, a popular city in Croatia, offers a mild climate, rich history, stunning architecture, and historic buildings. It is popular as a tourist destination. Dubrovnik also attracts many people who have family and friends in the area.

“There is great confidence in the Swedish air travel market, and Norwegian’s investment in additional direct routes from Gothenburg Landvetter Airport is a clear sign of this. Norwegian has a longstanding presence at Swedavia’s airports and plays an important role in connecting Sweden to well-established markets in Europe,” says Elizabeth Axtelius, Director of Aviation Business at Swedavia. “Our main goal is to increase the connectivity, and Norwegian’s vast network facilitates for people to meet, whether it is for business, leisure or to visit family and friends, says she.”

“We are happy to be able to continue developing the route network on the West Coast, and with today’s launch, you will be able to fly directly to nine destinations from Gothenburg. There is great interest in being able to fly directly from Gothenburg, and it is therefore pleasing to be able to offer more departures next year. We look forward to welcoming travelers on board,” says Magnus Thome Maursund, commercial director at Norwegian.
