Over the past ten years, Emirates has operated more than 6,000 round-trip flights, effectively meeting the needs of travelers and contributing significantly to trade and tourism between the two nations.

The daily Milan-New York flight by Emirates has become popular among Italian diasporas, students, business travelers, and tourists. It provides convenient connections between Italy and the US, particularly for those traveling to other destinations with a significant Italian diaspora. Additionally, Emirates offers increased connectivity for US travelers, allowing seamless travel to Milan and more than 140 other destinations worldwide.

In addition to the Milan-New York route, Emirates operates two other transatlantic flights connecting Athens and Newark, as well as Mexico City and Barcelona.

Emirates launched its inaugural flight to New York JFK in 2004, marking the start of its services to the US. Over the years, the airline has expanded its reach in the market and now flies to 12 US destinations, including Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport (ORD), Washington D.C.’s Dulles International Airport (IAD), Seattle Tacoma Airport (SEA), Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), Orlando International Airport (MCO), Dallas-Fort Worth Airport (DFW), San Francisco International Airport (SFO), and Miami International Airport (MIA).

Emirates currently operates 96 weekly flights between Dubai and these 12 US destinations, providing convenient connections for travelers. Onboard, passengers from the US can enjoy a culinary experience that draws inspiration from the regions they are flying to, along with a wide selection of beverages. The flights themselves are operated by a mix of Boeing 777 and A380 aircraft, ensuring a comfortable journey.

Moreover, Emirates takes pride in offering a vast range of entertainment options on its in-flight entertainment system. Passengers can choose from over 2,000 movies, including popular Hollywood releases, as well as enjoy streaming content from platforms like HBO Max and discovery+. Emirates in Italy

Since 1992, Emirates has provided flights to Rome, followed by Milan in 2000, Venice in 2007, and Bologna in 2015. Presently, the airline operates 42 weekly flights from Dubai to these four destinations, using a combination of Boeing 777s and Airbus A380s. Additionally, Emirates offers a daily direct service from Milan to New York. Passengers traveling between Italy and their destinations can enjoy a diverse selection of Italian content on ice. Passengers can enjoy up to 300 movies available, including popular titles like II Colibri, Nostalgia, and L’immensita, as well as 19 channels featuring Italian music. Moreover, these flights present over 250 Hollywood movies, dubbed in Italian.
