Finally! Delta Air Lines Tampa to Amsterdam Daily Flights Will Return

Tampa International Airport and Delta Air Lines have announced the return of their nonstop seasonal flights to Amsterdam, starting on October 26 and continuing until March 29, 2025.

This service connects Tampa Bay travelers directly to Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport, a key European hub and home to KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Delta’s trans-Atlantic partner within the SkyTeam alliance.

The daily flights will be available for sale on Saturday, May 4, on Delta’s website.

“We’re grateful to Delta for creating a prime European connection through this nonstop service to Amsterdam, which we know will be popular with both Tampa Bay area residents and European travelers looking to experience our sunshine, beaches and other attractions this winter,” Airport CEO Joe Lopano said. “We’re looking forward to supporting the route and continuing a strong partnership with Delta, which always provides a world-class experience for our passengers.”

Returning After 5 Years

Delta Airlines last offered nonstop seasonal flights from Tampa International Airport (TPA) to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) in 2019. There has been a significant clamor for the service to resume since then.

Tampa International Airport Grows Its Nonstop Trans-Atlantic Routes

Amsterdam is a key focus for Tampa International Airport as they expand their nonstop trans-Atlantic flights. This expansion is supported by partnerships with local tourism and business entities and promises to significantly boost Tampa Bay’s economy with a potential impact of $107 million.

“These kinds of nonstop flights to sought-after destinations like Amsterdam can only happen with the help of our community partners: Visit Tampa Bay, Visit St. Pete-Clearwater, the Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce, the St. Peterburg Area Chamber of Commerce and Global Tampa Bay, which is comprised of the Tampa Bay Economic Development Council, Pinellas County Economic Development and the Pasco Economic Development Council,” Lopano said. “The support of these organizations has truly helped us grow global access for Tampa Bay.”
