Transition from Publicis

This new development means SWISS will conclude its ongoing collaboration with Publicis at the end of 2023. The airline says the partnership with Publicis has been productive, marked by years of reliable and consistent service.

The partnership with Thjnk will bring a fresh perspective to SWISS’s marketing communications from January 2024. Both parties are optimistic about the potential outcomes of this collaboration.

A Competitive Selection Process

The agency’s comprehensive and convincing proposals influenced the airline’s decision to partner with Thjnk. SWISS‘s procurement team, led by Cornelia Späth, Head of Marketing Communications Campaigns, was instrumental in the thorough selection process.

“Thjnk’s proposals and ideas totally convinced us in every respect, and I am delighted that we will now be taking new marketing communications paths together with this renowned creative agency,” says SWISS Head of Marketing Stefan Vasic. “I would like to take this opportunity to voice my sincere thanks to our entire procurement team and to Cornelia Späth, our Head of Marketing Communications Campaigns in particular, for all their energies and their commitment throughout the process of selecting our new creative agency. I would also like to make special mention of the fruitful and excellent collaboration that we have enjoyed with Publicis. They have consistently been a sound and reliable partner over the past few years, for which we offer them our deepest thanks and appreciation.”

“We are extremely proud to have convinced SWISS of the merits of our holistic concept and approach,” adds Andrea Bison, Co-CEO of Thjnk Zurich. “We have been greatly impressed both by the strong international appeal of the SWISS brand and by the professionalism and the approachability of Stefan Vasic and his team throughout the selection process. And on a personal note, SWISS has always been very close to my heart.”

The announcement marks a significant transition for SWISS as it embraces a new phase of creative marketing strategies with Thjnk. Industry observers and the broader public will be keen to see the developments and innovations emerging from this new partnership.
