Luxury Seating and Generous Perks on Miami-Bogotá Flights

Travel in luxury with lie-flat seats in First and Business Class on your journey between Miami and Bogotá. Enjoy a generous baggage allowance and indulge in complimentary meals and entertainment on board.

Bogotá Becomes Emirates’ Newest South American Destination

Bogotá now stands as Emirates’ fourth South American hub, joining São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Buenos Aires. This expansion stretches Emirates’ network to cover 19 destinations across the Americas, streamlining travel between the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, and Colombia. The inaugural service on June 3 creates an unprecedented link between the Middle East and North-South America. Emirates raises the bar for passenger services on the well-traveled Miami-Bogotá route.

Commenting on the launch of the new route and destination, Sir Tim Clark, President Emirates Airline, said: “We’ve long wanted to serve Colombia, and the addition of Bogotá to our network is part of our strategy to deliver better connectivity, expand options and choice for travellers and provide unparalleled premium experiences on the ground and in the air. The launch of our daily operations to the dynamic capital of Colombia also underscores our deep commitment to South America, and is poised to foster increased business and leisure travel opportunities for customers.

“There is a huge demand for travel to and from Bogotá and we can’t wait for customers to experience Emirates’ signature products and services on the flights between Bogotá and Dubai as well as between Bogotá and Miami. We would like to thank all the authorities involved for supporting our plans and making this new route possible. We look forward to adding value to the new communities served and building new partnerships to promote tourism and trade.”

Daily Flights to Bogotá Begin: Connect Seamlessly with Emirates

Gear up for a travel revolution – Emirates now offers daily flights to Bogotá, a key cultural and economic hub in South America. With this new route, travelers who journey between Colombia and the United Arab Emirates have a reliable and luxurious option. It also simplifies connecting to countless other cities on the Emirates network that are not directly serviced by Bogotá.

The strategic layover in Miami turns necessity into opportunity. It navigates the challenge of Bogotá’s high altitude, which rules out direct flights from Dubai and leverages Miami’s strong bond with Bogotá in tourism and commerce.

Travelers should be mindful of U.S. entry regulations while transiting through Miami and have the necessary documentation prepared. In a move to facilitate more accessible travel, Colombian and UAE nationals can relish the perk of visa-free travel to each other’s countries for up to three months.

You can start booking today for journeys that commence on June 3. Secure your seat via emirates.com, the Emirates mobile app, or contact your preferred travel consultants. Embrace the comfort and sophistication of Emirates, and make Bogotá your springboard to explore global destinations.
