Virgin Atlantic Introduces Cozy Dining for Autumn In-Flight Menu

    Virgin Atlantic has recently introduced its new Autumn/Winter menu for all cabins starting October 4th. The menu offers a variety of options to ensure passengers feel warm and satisfied during their flight.

    • Virgin Atlantic welcomes the cooler weather with a new menu, introduced across the network from 4th October.
    • The modern and inclusive menu will include more vegetarian and plant-based options.

    • Economy Delight customers will now be able to pre-select their meals

    With the arrival of autumn, Virgin Atlantic aims to provide a comforting and delicious experience for all its customers. Working together with catering partner Gate Gourmet, they have designed a menu that is sure to satisfy and enhance holiday journeys.

    New Autumn Upper Class In-Flight Menu on Virgin Atlantic

    For Upper Class passengers, there is a selection of both British classics and international flavors. The main menu includes mouthwatering dishes. It features serrano ham with roasted squash, pickled red onion, feta cheese, herb-roasted chicken breast, and roasted trout fillet. However, the highlight is the Extra Bites menu, offering treats like cream tea with sultana scones, white chocolate and orange scones, clotted cream, morello cherry jam, and lemon curd.

    Additionally, passengers can enjoy a tasty bao bun with cashew satay chicken and spiced lamb flatbread. Notably, the new menu also places a greater emphasis on vegetarian and plant-based options. It includes delicacies like carrot tartare with whipped ricotta, spinach and ricotta tortellini, spiced apple, and parsnip soup. The airline also offers a Beyond Burger® with pickled onions, vegan cheese, and vegan mayonnaise. As for dessert, passengers can indulge in the tempting flavors of Northern Bloc’s plant-based ice cream. Passengers can choose between double-salted caramel or refreshing lemon sorbet.

    Virgin Atlantic introduces a new A La Carte breakfast menu in Upper Class. It is designed to give customers more choices and customization options. Now, passengers can create their own breakfast by selecting from various delicious options. Choices include yogurt, fresh fruit, warm pastries, artisan granola, fruit, and fiber cereals.

    For those who prefer to get some extra sleep, the airline offers an Express Breakfast. Served 40 minutes before landing, it includes a bacon roll or a sweet pastry. Virgin Atlantic has also introduced new drinks. Beverage options include Real sparkling tea, Perfect Ted matcha, and Lo Bros kombucha to enhance your well-being. Wine enthusiasts will find a selection of excellent onboard wines. They include a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, a Côtes du Rhône Rosé, and an Italian Villa Borghetti Valpolicella Classico.

    In the Premium cabin, customers will be delighted with various delectable options. They may find it challenging to choose. Menus include a comforting chicken lasagne, a flavorful sage and thyme pork stew, or crispy panko-coated tofu accompanied by a katsu vegetable curry. An exciting addition to the menu is the British cheese plate. It features a selection of vintage cheddar, blacksticks blue, and served with fig jelly, grapes, olive oil, and sea salt crackers. For a delightful treat, passengers can opt for the sweet or savory Mile High Tea. The sweet option includes coconut and blueberry financier and pistachio macaron mini patisseries. The savory option offers mini quiche Lorraine and smoked salmon blini.

    New Virgin Atlantic Pre-Order Menu for Economy Delight Passengers

    Passengers traveling in Economy Delight can now enjoy the convenience of pre-ordering their meals. This feature, which was previously exclusive to Premium and Upper Class, allows passengers to choose from a delectable menu. Options include a mouthwatering chicken, leek, and tarragon casserole, a creamy spinach and butternut pasta, as well as a delicious serving of Cathedral City cheddar and crackers. For those looking for a plant-based dessert, there’s also a tempting Pots & Co chocolate pot available.

    Virgin Atlantic Upgrades Snacks

    Virgin Atlantic has upgraded its snack offerings across its cabins. Economy passengers have a wide selection of treats. They include Walker’s shortbread fingers, vanilla Oreos, Cadbury mini fingers, and Penn State sour cream and chive pretzels. Meanwhile, Upper Class and Premium passengers can indulge in elevated snacks. Virgin Atlantic offers Savoursmiths bubbly and serrano chili crisps, Yumma peach-flavored gummy sweets, Creative Nature blueberry muffin bar, Love Raw Vegan caramelized biscuit bar, and more.
