Direct Flights from Frankfurt to Alta, Norway’s Northern Lights Capital
Alta – the mesmerizing “City of the Northern Lights” – opens doors to an articulate mix of Arctic exploits. Its position in the province of Finnmark makes it the perfect base for northern lights safaris, dog sledding, skiing, and igloo hotel experiences.
From December 16, 2024, until March 27, 2025, Discover Airlines will offer twice-weekly direct flights from Frankfurt to Alta Airport (ALF). Embark on a journey to one of the world’s most northern settlements every Thursday and Sunday, with a travel time of just three and a half hours.
Kittilä: Finnish Lapland’s Ultimate Winter Sports Destination
Nestled near the Arctic Circle, Kittilä, Finland, is a hub for winter sports enthusiasts. The prestigious Levi Ski Resort is near the airport, offering 43 pristine slopes. While in Kittilä, enjoy winter sports, reindeer, and dog sledding. Or spend some time indoors immersing yourself in the culture and the work of local artists.
Take off to Kittilä Airport (KTT) from December 20, 2024, through March 28, 2025, with Discover Airlines’ once-weekly flights every Friday. Finnish Lapland’s allure is just a three-and-a-half-hour flight away from Frankfurt.
