American Airlines is updating its cabin experience in May with menu and service updates. These include snacks, beverages and afternoon tea.
The airline announced that it will now offer a Tostitos Snack Box on its buy-on-board menu. It features Tostitos Bite Sized Rounds and Chunky Salsa. You can get it for for $9 or 900 AAdvantage miles. This treat is available on flights over 1,300 miles.
From LaCroix Lime To Limoncello
American is replacing its LaCroix Lime beverage with a new LaCroix Limoncello which has a refreshing creamy citrus flavor.
Redefining High Tea
American Airlines will also test out an afternoon tea service on inbound flights from London and Paris. It features tea, finger sandwiches, scones, cream and jelly. Interestingly, afternoon tea will be offered across all cabins.
American Airlines Revises Flagship Headset Policy
As part of its service updates, American is also updating its headset policy on inbound US Flagship service. First and business class passengers can keep their Bang & Olufsen headsets on for the full flight. Customers can wear these and enjoy entertainment right up to the point of landing. They can simply leave them at the seat when they deplane.
