Business Class Suites: Collins Aerospace Elevation

The new A330neo cabin will feature many ‘firsts’ for Malaysia Airlines. Among those are the Collins Aerospace Elevation Business Class seats. Business Class onboard the Malaysia Airlines A330neo consists of an all-suite cabin with 28 suites, each offering individual privacy doors, wireless charging pods, and other attractive amenities.

The airline will be the world’s first carrier to feature Elevation seats on the A330 airframe, reflecting its commitment to passenger experience and innovation.

Economy Class Seats: Recaro CL3810

Malaysia Airlines has selected the Recaro CL3810 for Economy Class. These award-winning seats feature an ergonomic design and enhanced support. They include thoughtful amenities such as coat hooks, cup holders, and ample stowage for added cabin comfort and practicality.

The seat covers throughout the cabin will feature the airline’s signature songket motif. This textile detail pays homage to Malaysia’s cultural heritage by seamlessly blending tradition with contemporary style.

The A330neo will comprise 297 seats.

  • 28 in Business Class
  • 269 in Economy Class— 24 extra legroom

Shoppers attending MATTA Fair can experience these new seats for a limited time. You can view them at the MAG Arena (Level 3, MITEC, Kuala Lumpur) until 24 March 2024.

Malaysia Airlines’ New Partnership With Manchester United

Malaysia Airlines has become the Official Commercial Airline for Manchester United football club. The strategic, multi-year partnership will increase the airline’s global presence. This collaboration seeks to engage Manchester United’s huge fanbase of over 1.1 billion fans. The partners will introduce co-branded marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility worldwide while providing high-quality service and experiences.

Malaysia Airlines Launching Flights to 3 New Destinations

Malaysia Airlines announced at MATTA Fair 2024 the introduction of flights to three new destinations. Flights to Malé (Maldives), Da Nang (Vietnam), and Chiang Mai (Thailand) begin on 1 August, 24 September, and 15 August 2024, respectively. Flights to Malé and Da Nang will be daily, while the airline will fly to Chiang Mai five times weekly. Ticket sales begin on 22 March 2024. This expansion marks the airline’s growth in South Asia and ASEAN. It reinforces Malaysia Airlines’ position in these regions and enhances its global reach as a member of the oneworld® alliance.

Steadfast Resistance Leads To Malaysia Airlines Recovery

Datuk Captain Izham Ismail, Managing Director of Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG), said, “Malaysia Airlines has undergone a chequered journey over the last decade. However, through it all, our resilience has remained steadfast. Having stabilized our balance sheet and recording our strongest-ever financial year performance since the past decade, we are now in a stronger position to steer our focus towards accelerating investments into our product and service delivery to elevate the customer experience.

“With our Manchester United collaboration, the expansion of our network to three new routes, and the unveiling of the new cabin seats on our new A330neo, this sets the benchmark of exciting things to come as we redefine what it means to travel onboard Malaysian Hospitality. These milestones not only set a new standard in the airline’s transformation journey but also promise a future filled with unparalleled experiences beyond the confines of the aircraft. As we move forward, our focus remains unwavering on delivering excellence and fostering continued growth, ensuring that every aspect of our service exceeds expectations and leaves a lasting impression for our valued passengers.”
