A Taste of Elegance at 30,000 Feet

Forgoing the typical airline materials, Discover Airlines has chosen to serve its meals and drinks on fine porcelain and glassware, adding a touch of sophistication similar to that of Business Class. The exquisite cheese platter is a notable addition to their meal service, offering passengers a gourmet experience shortly after departure.

Complimentary Drinks and Environmental Responsibility

The drink menu continues to impress with a wide array of complimentary options, including soft drinks, wines, and beers, all included within the ticket price. This new service approach also reflects the airline’s dedication to sustainability, evident in the significant reduction of disposable material use.

Sustainable Practices in the Air

Discover Airlines stands as a pioneer in eco-friendly initiatives. The airline’s forward-thinking is evident through environmentally conscious actions such as using bamboo cutlery in Economy class and eliminating plastics from blanket packaging.

The Comfort of Extra Space

Choosing Discover Airlines’ Premium Economy guarantees passengers the luxury of extra legroom and increased seat pitch, a noticeable improvement over standard Economy seating. Up to 31 plush seats are available on certain aircraft, inviting travelers to experience greater comfort.

A New Era for Discover Airlines

As Discover Airlines undergoes a dynamic brand reinvention, it aims to redefine holiday travel. The airline’s latest enhancements promise passengers a remarkable journey from start to finish.

Discover Airlines New Brand Livery

Newly painted Discover Airlines aircraft shows the new brand livery.

Discover Airlines has been updating its fleet to match its new look. The airline expects 17 aircraft to feature the new livery design by mid-2024. That includes the airline’s 13th A330 and four new A320s scheduled to be added to the fleet in the summer. The company’s fleet plans don’t stop there. By early 2025, the airline will increase its total number of aircraft to 28.

New Crew Uniforms and Amenities

The rebranding signifies a commitment to quality and positions Discover Airlines as the Quality Leisure Carrier. Alongside the aircraft’s new look, the crew has received new uniform accessories as part of the brand rollout plan.

Discover’s recent rebranding effort has involved updating over 60 items. Passengers will see changes in menu cards, glasses, and even pillows and blankets. This required careful planning and teamwork with 18 catering partners from all over the world.

“Despite many dependencies, such as the availability of painting slots, supply chains, or the uncertainties of daily flight operations, we are on schedule with the rollout. It is important to us that the changeover takes place quietly and that we can reliably fly our guests on vacation with the usual quality,” said Maximilian Meintgens, Director of Product and Marketing at Discover Airlines.

In the months ahead, more changes are coming. The airline plans to refresh the look inside the cabins. New curtains and seat covers will be installed to give everything a consistent and modern appearance.
