Significant Win In Norway for SAS Corporate Travel Services

The extended partnership proves significant for SAS’s customer volume in Norway. Equinor selected SAS for its broad network, attractive flight schedule, favorable commercial terms, and one of the most modern fleets in Europe.

Paul Verhagen, Chief Commercial Officer at SAS, expressed enthusiasm about the renewed collaboration, “We are delighted that Equinor once again has chosen SAS as their preferred carrier for business travel, demonstrating a continued confidence in us for the next three years. SAS’ strategic priorities to retain and further strengthen our position in the Scandinavian travel market is founded on a good cooperation with the largest companies in Norway. The longstanding collaboration with Equinor remains very important to SAS.”

Equinor, renowned as a major international energy company, dedicates itself to creating long-term value while paving the way for a low-carbon future. With the drive to transform natural resources into energy for societal progress, Equinor envisions a net-zero future by 2050. With headquarters in Stavanger, Norway, Equinor is a prominent operator on the Norwegian continental shelf and operates in approximately 30 countries worldwide. Equinor employs around 22,000 people.

SAS recently announced another win in Norway, with the Norwegian Health Authority‘s tender process. The airline secured a substantial portion of the specialist health service’s air travel volume. This award positions SAS as the primary carrier for healthcare-related travel across all of its routes within Norway. The contract covers essential patient and service travel between the nation’s most frequented cities.
