Experience the Magic at beJEWELed—The Ultimate Taylor Swift Sing-Along in Singapore’s Jewel Changi Airport.
Get ready, Swifties! Changi Airport Group has announced the beJEWELed: a spellbinding sing-along event for Taylor Swift fans set amidst the breathtaking Shiseido Forest Valley in Jewel Changi Airport. Mark your calendars for March 1, 2024, and prepare to be part of what could be Singapore’s largest gathering of Swifties to date.
A Starlit Evening of Singing and Fun: Changi Airport Taylor Swift Sing-Along
Under the canopy of stars and surrounded by the lushness of nature, fans will enjoy a spectacular evening filled with their favorite Taylor Swift anthems, including hits like Love Story, You Belong with Me, and Blank Space. The night’s highlight will undoubtedly be a sing-along to the catchy Bejeweled, ensuring a memorable experience for all Swifties attending.
The two-hour sing-along extravaganza begins at 7:30 PM and will feature special performances from the talented Joie Tan and the popular local band 53A. Opening acts include the dynamic performers from MADDspace, and the event’s host will be Mediacorp’s Joakim Gomez.
Exclusive Keepsakes from an Unforgettable Night
All attendees will receive a special commemorative friendship bracelet courtesy of Changi Airport Group. In addition, participants will also receive a bead pack to design and personalize their own bracelets, embodying the creative spirit of the event. This free-ticketed occasion promises fantastic music and a unique souvenir to remind fans of an enchanting evening.
Joie Tan: A Journey from YouTube to Live Performances
Starting her career in 2008 with YouTube covers, Joie Tan quickly gained acclaim for her powerful vocals and the unique flair she brought to well-known songs. Her talent has received nods from world-famous producers like Avicii and Kygo, featuring in playlists and performances that have left an indelible mark in the music industry. With a debut album filled with ten original tracks, Joie Tan’s style is refreshing and resonant, perfect for leading a night of Swift-inspired melodies.
Celebrating Local Talent: 53A Takes the Stage
53A has been a staple in Singapore’s live music scene for over twenty years, known for their electric performances. They’ve graced major events like the National Day Parades, impressing audiences with their NDP medleys and theme songs such as “Tomorrow’s Here Today” and “Shine Your Light.” Their presence at beJEWELed will add to the allure of an already extraordinary musical celebration.
Swiftie Sing-Along: Latest Event at Changi Airport for Taylor Swift Fans
Swifties, don’t miss this chance to unite and sing your hearts out at Jewel Changi Airport. beJEWELed is more than just a sing-along; it’s a celebration of music, togetherness, and the magic of starlit performances. Be part of a night that will sparkle in fans’ memories for years.
Mr Kelvin Ng, CAG’s Vice President of Corporate and Marketing Communications, enthused, “Through her songs, Taylor Swift has been connecting and touching fans all over the world. We wanted to create a chance for fans, both local and from the region, to come together and celebrate Taylor ahead of her Eras Tour in Singapore. With its verdant forest stretching across five storeys and beautiful views from any spot, we think the Shiseido Forest Valley in Jewel would be an enchanted venue for Swifties to mingle, have fun, and make the whole place shimmer.”
CAG had earlier called on its social channels for Swifties to join in and invite the star to #SeeTheNewForest that is at Jewel by posting their photo or video taken at Jewel’s forest and tagging Taylor. This follows Taylor’s post of seeing a forest in Changi Airport Terminal 3 when she was in Singapore 13 years ago (see below).
