Royal Jordanian Airlines Receives First Two Embraer E195-E2 Jets from Azorra

Royal Jordanian Airlines expanded its fleet, taking delivery of their first two Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, secured through a deal with lessors Azorra. The delivery ceremony took place at the Embraer facility in São José dos Campos, Brazil. A festive arrival celebration promptly followed in Amman, Jordan.

This first delivery is part of an agreement signed in May 2023 for eight E195-E2 jets in all. This includes six aircraft from Azorra’s pre-existing order book with Embraer, and an additional two E195-E2 jets the airline ordered directly from Embraer.

As Royal Jordanian Airlines advances its service capabilities, these state-of-the-art aircraft will play a pivotal role in enhancing its regional connectivity and passenger comfort.

Royal Jordanian: First E2 Operator In the Middle East

Samer Majali, Vice Chairman/CEO of Royal Jordanian Airlines, says: “We’re looking forward to becoming the first E2 operator in the Middle East, supported by our trusted partners at Azorra.
